What is the A/Q Project?

"Don't Bite"

Yeah that lil guy is Gem. My grandma used to have a parrot with the same name, and one of his catchphrases was to say "don't bite" right after he bit you. While transitioning to alternate music distributions, I decided I needed to envelope everything I work on into a single label. Music isn't my only interest; I also engage in digital art, storytelling and sound design. Most of this ends up in the A/Q project, but when I start to gain traction in the industry, I'd like to branch out into other fields. It would be very cool to work on sound design for a game, collaborate with other musicians for epic productions, or continue developing my podcast: the "Brilly Barner Broadcast".

Absolute Quantum

A/Q is an offshoot of the "Don't Bite" label. They are an explorer, weaving their little ship through dreams of mine and trying to translate them into music. I started this in 2018, with the vision of nurturing it into a full fledged career. I released "JOURNEY" in 2018 to kick things off, promising myself I'd continue forward until A/Q had life outside of my own head.

I truly believe there is a place in the world for A/Q and my music. The people that are meant to find me, will find me. And if you're here now, I hope you enjoy your stay. It means the world to have you here.
